‘Grass Stains’ follows on from my previous project ‘Spit of You’. This body of work focuses on the idea of ‘girlhood’ and growing up, it highlights the small details of mine and the women and girls in my life’s experiences and relationships. Continuing my fine art photographic approach by incorporating the archive, collage and a variation of photographic techniques to connect us together and capture femininity below the surface, encouraging young women my age to relate as well as those older and younger to also see familiarities.
